(March 20-April
19)
Humans hold the patent on the all-or-nothing situation. We do this, in
particular, with our relationships, as if having a choice in the matter
of love and companionship were a crisis too intense to maintain. You
do have a choice now, but there is something to be said for not choosing
-- at the same time you go into your experiences deeply. The idea is
to preserve this ability to decide in the long run. This is another way
of saying keeping your freedom on a daily basis, so you may choose as
often as you like. |

|
(April 19-May
20)
Do you feel you're being asked to give something up for love? Here is
a paradox that is more often a journey. Balancing one's personal needs
against the nature of a relationship, or the quality of an environment,
or the needs of a partner creates an almost unbearable tension that has
a way of pushing us to grow -- uncomfortable as it may be. While you
can't do much about your commitments, and would be unlikely to give them
up if you could, the one thing you can do is take it easer on yourself.

(May 20-June
21)
You seem to have dropped a ton of insecurity in the past few weeks. The
theme of the new season is actually experiencing what it's like to not
be entangled in the web of your own worst fears: you could call it 'being
free'. But the thing about freedom is you have to create it as you go.
Even when liberty is handed to you, or you get it by uprising and revolt,
the next step still requires you to create something with this newfound
fertility and potential. And, paradoxically, that requires commitment.
But such is the privilege of the free. |

(June 21-July
22)
The time has come to get some control over your physical environment.
I suggest you start with the ideas of what you want and need, based on
real-life experience. Or, start by clearing anything that bothers you
out of your space, and make room for yourself. Then develop your engineering
plan from there. Your space needs to not only be nicer, but also more
tailored to your specific and somewhat diverse needs. But most of all,
you need to have a sense that you have some significant influence over
your environment, and then remember to exercise that influence.

(July 22-Aug.
23)
It never, ever ceases to amaze me the lack of creativity that is applied
to life. But for you, a good idea is obviously more than something someone
else thought of. In the months and weeks of this new and very different
season, you have available an abundance of ideas, and thankfully, many
ways to put them to work for beauty and profit. This is not a time of
planning or pondering; rather, it's a time of seizing opportunities to
express yourself, and to interact with your environment. The feedback
function is crucial: you need all the response you can get. |

|
(Aug. 23-Sep.
22)
Self-esteem is the most pressing issue of anyone with a strong Virgo
signature in their chart: the Sun or ascendant, such as you have, or
in truth, any other important factor. Events of the coming few months
will go a long way to reinforce your positive role in the world, if you
will have the good sense to lower the volume on any negative messages
you may have a habit of sending yourself. Any time you face a struggle,
look for a mistaken belief. Any time you face a lack, remind yourself
you've given far more than you've ever asked for. |

|
(Sep. 22-Oct.
23)
Whatever you've been through in the past few months, it looks like a
deep and potentially harrowing inner journey. Is there a fear you have
not faced? There must be a couple. But closer to the core is the struggle
over whether you consider yourself the property of another person, or
of a household, or of an idea that you owe someone something. These beliefs
are very, very old, but finally you have enough evidence to the contrary
that you can make an excellent argument for being your own person. But
at the end of the day, such is something we do, physically, rather than
just believe, mentally. |

|
(Oct. 23-Nov.
22)
You are many layers deep. You feel this, and I assure you, it feels very
different to be you than it does for others to be who they are. The astrology
of the season takes you several layers down into the regions closer to
your core. How close? How deep in? it's up to you, but there is very
little limiting your self-understanding right now, and events of the
past month or so seem to have opened a door at the bottom of who you
thought you were. Descend gently, and bring some light -- then return
and tell the story.

|
(Nov.
22-Dec. 22)
If you are considering a career change based on how much money you might
make, I suggest you think again. Once we have purchased everything money
can buy, we are left needing the things that money cannot buy, and one
of them is creative fulfillment. And, oddly enough, working strictly
for money is a great way to put the most passionate and innovative lobes
of the brain to sleep -- and they're not so easy to wake up, twenty years
later. Right now, at this stage of your life, I suggest you start with
doing what is important to you, and figure out how to get that to work
for you economically. |

|
(Dec.
22-Jan. 20)
These past few weeks have carried you into a new phase of your life --
a transitional phase that will last into next summer. At that point,
it seems you'll emerge as someone just a little bit different than you
ever were, but on a deep level. In particular, your relationship experiences
are beginning to reach you deeply, in more subtle ways, and you are able
to feel people in a whole new way. There is a psychic quality to your
communication, which means that your inner voice is speaking more clearly,
and your third eye is looking at the world in living color. |

|
(Jan. 20-Feb.
19)
Recent events have arrived with a quality of awakening: a reality check.
You are never one to dispense with something that's really necessary,
but just what that entails has finally come into clear focus. Now that
you know what you must do, you're also free to do what you want to do.
There is a balance involved, and you are very close to finding it. Just
make sure that you count yourself into what life has to offer, every
step of the way. This is the time to indulge your most cherished goals,
not abandon them.

(Feb. 19-March
20)
Well, the turning point was not what you expected -- but I doubt it turned
out disappointing. True, there is an exchange involved in any gain, and
growth comes at a cost -- but note, it's always been a price you're willing
to give freely. And just what is that? The recognition that you are only
part of the world, while at the same time, acceptance that the part you
provide is uniquely your own. This holds true in the grandest and most
modest aspects of your life; for everyone you know, and for those who
you care for the most deeply.
